The wheels on the Love Bus go…

Off the top of your head, what’s your favourite food? If you’re having trouble thinking of just one, don’t worry – a lot of us here in Singapore suffer from the same affliction of being food-lovers. Though that probably isn’t a suffering…

But we aren’t just talking about any food place – we’re talking about the beloved café culture right here in Singapore. With great ambiance and uniquely-prepared food, what’s not to love? With no sign of stopping anytime soon, just how do you know which café to spend your weekend at? In fact, an estimated number of 350 new cafés have been opening every year since 2011!

On 9 April (that’s a Saturday), hop on board the Love Bus and let us take you to delightful gems for fresh food and aromatic coffee. You don’t have to be a foodie to have a seat on our Love Bus; you just have to have a passion for good company and lovingly-made food. Plus, you won’t be limited to a predetermined menu. You choose the food you want to have, we’ll just provide the wheels and facilitate interaction.

Here’s a sneak peek at two cafes we’ll be rumbling up to:

Tolido’s Espresso Nook

Located along Crawford Lane, this cosy space offers a selection of palatable dishes to satisfy your tummy all through brunch and midday coffee break. Using beans from Yahava, their coffee is not to be missed, whether you order a regular latte (or is it in fact a Sea Salt Caramel Latte?) or Bailey’s Coffee.

Pssst, did anybody else see them cut into their thick stack of fluffy pancakes with bacon and egg? Divine!

Nylon Coffee

This is one for you coffee lovers. With beans specially sourced from as far away as Colombia and their own house blend, you know they’re serious about their coffee. We can already imagine stepping into this place – just taking a whiff of the aromatic blend of beans sends a shiver down our spine.

Looking to try something unique? How about their White Coffee? It’s made using their very own Four Chairs blend, which is said to be brilliant.

Remember to reserve your seat on the bus quickly before they’re all taken up. No standing allowed!

When: 9 April, Saturday
